Health justice partnership in WA

Join us in Perth for two free workshops on 18 September 2024 – an introductory workshop for people who are new to or interested in health justice partnership, and an in-depth review for those in established partnerships.

These events we will provide you with information, practical strategies and free resources about all things health justice partnership.

In this way of working, a lawyer is embedded into a health, community or social service which supports people’s health and wellbeing.

Bringing together diverse disciplines and expertise in a partnership really works for patients and clients. And at the same time, we know it takes specific skills to partner effectively.

When: Wednesday, 18th September, 2024
Venue: Guerrilla Establishment
Address: 63 Adelaide Terrace #Unit 101, East Perth, WA 6004

Online attendance available for the introductory event.

Event 1: An introduction to health justice partnership

9am – 10.30am: An in-person and online event for people who have heard about HJP and would like to know more, or those for whom HJP is a new concept but who are interested in innovative ways to provide services to people with complex and intersecting needs.

Following a short presentation by Health Justice Australia, we’ll open up the conversation to answer your questions about HJP and begin a discussion about common challenges of working in partnership, such as how to build buy-in or develop a shared service goal.

Event 2: An in-depth review of how you’re partnering in HJP
