Young people can experience a wide range of legal problems including those related to debt, work, school, crime, domestic and family violence, and housing, which impact their wellbeing. And yet, many do not know where or how to access legal support. Health justice partnerships can open doors to the legal support young people need – when, where and how they need it.
This tutorial will discuss young people’s equitable access to services and how early intervention measures can assist with positive outcomes, such as keeping young people in school and in housing. In an interactive workshop, we will explore what it means and what it can look like for health justice partnership to address the needs of young people in our communities.
