HJP tutorial: you say client, I say patient – shared language in health justice partnership

What does effective communication look like in HJP? How can you develop a deeper understanding about your partner and shared patients/clients?

Health justice partnerships bring together diverse professions, roles and settings. To collaborate for successful outcomes, people working in health justice partnership (HJP) need to be able to communicate effectively with partners and the people they’re there to help. Often this requires understanding your different ways of communicating and having enough self-awareness to ensure that what you’re communicating is being understood.

In this interactive tutorial, we will workshop what effective communication looks like in HJP and how you can develop a deeper understanding about your partner, and shared patients/clients, in HJP.
