This 8-week program is designed to build the capability of Victorian health, community and legal service partners working in health justice partnership.
By the conclusion of the program, you’ll have a shared plan for evaluating your work and be ready to progress your evaluation internally or brief an evaluation consultant on your needs. You’ll also have a clear understanding of what’s required for effective monitoring and evaluation using the resources that are available to you.
This training is fully sponsored by the Victorian State Government Empowerment Fund – so you can participate in this program at no cost! See the live online workshop dates below.

The Partnership Evaluation Program has given me a really thorough understanding of monitoring and evaluation in health justice partnership, and has provided me with some amazing tools to use moving forward. It was great to hear about some of the challenges and strengths of other HJPs, too.

The program
With a total commitment of around 12 hours, the PEP consists of:
Five 1-hour evaluation training modules.
This self-guided content will include evaluation in partnership, understanding outcomes of HJP, collecting data to measure outcomes, navigating challenges for outcomes measurement, as well as documenting a monitoring and evaluation plan. Each module will take up to one hour of training.
Three two-hour online workshops.
These workshops are designed to help your HJP create tailored program logic and evaluation questions, outcome measurement tools and a monitoring and evaluation plan. Each practical workshop builds on material covered in previous workshops and training modules. As such, attendance from each partner at all workshops is expected.

Your Teachers
Learn from teachers with experience across health justice partnership, monitoring and evaluation, and practice. Our teachers take a ‘flipped classroom’ approach, offering online learning at your own pace interspersed with practical live workshop sessions to address your questions, discuss challenges, and engage in learning activities.
