Health Justice Partnership as early intervention in child and family service settings

Child and Family Hubs are a great place for health justice partnership.

Families coming to a Hub for support may not be aware that legal help is an option, or a possible solution to their problem. Integrated legal assistance can contribute to a holistic, wrap-around support system that addresses complex, clustered issues with collaborative care.

Our Research Director Suzie Forell wrote this policy brief with Sarah Loveday from the Centre of Research Excellence in Childhood Adversity and Mental Health, using case studies of HJPs based in Hubs to learn about what it takes to create a successful partnership: shared purpose, collaborative processes, and investment in relationships.
