Kate Adnams
Kate Adnams is a Senior Lawyer at LawRight where she supervises Homelessness Law’s Stable Futures for Young Queenslanders project. Stable Futures provides ongoing, holistic and trauma-informed legal representation to children and young people aged 12-25 years old who connect with LawRight through partnerships with Brisbane Youth Service and the Mater Young Adult Health Centre. In recognition of this work, Kate was named the 2024 Australian Young Lawyer of the Year and in 2022, the Women in Law Not-for-Profit Lawyer of the Year. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the Queensland University of Technology, and a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne.
