Legal Aid NSW – Early Intervention Unit
The Early Intervention Unit (EIU) is a specialist statewide service within the family law division of Legal Aid NSW. Over the past 10 years we have developed eight Health Justice Partnerships across metropolitan and regional health services in NSW. Our HJPs operate within hospitals, community health centres and therapeutic drug rehabilitations facilities.
Our HJPs operate under a ‘generalist advice model’ responding to all the legal needs of the referred client. We also provide community legal education to service providers and clients.
