At the HJA table, we shared a range of resources for those exploring the health justice movement for the first time, to those continuing their learning.
- The health justice landscape in Australia
- Finding a partner for health justice partnership
- I want to start a health justice partnership, but where do I begin: Building blocks
- Funding a health justice partnership
- The rationale for health justice partnership
- Ways of working together: From networking to partnership
- Reviewing the way you partner
Health Justice 2025 reminded us that system change isn’t theoretical, it’s already happening across the country through robust, innovative health justice partnerships. Health Justice Australia created a space where our shared commitment to shifting power back to local communities felt real and actionable.
I returned to work more hopeful than ever about our collective ability to advance equity and access to justice.

Speakers at Health Justice 2025
Health Justice Australia’s national conference in 2025 included workshops, breakout sessions and presentations from speakers across the country and globally.
In a world of growing complexity and uncertainty the importance of robust and innovative social, health and legal services cannot be understated. Innovation is, by its nature, challenging, meaning that gatherings like this one are all the more important.

The conference is a fantastic opportunity to really get to meet colleagues, friends, and other practitioners and professionals across both the legal profession as well as health. These events are so important because they really start the conversation around what our respective professions need in the future, and what our community needs.
